How to Find Us &
Where to Stay

|
Directions:
Grover is located about 50 miles southeast of
Cheyenne, Wyoming, about 50 miles northeast of Greeley, Colorado, about 60 miles northeast
of Ft. Collins, Colorado and about 60 miles northwest of Sterling, Colorado. That
may sound like it's about 50 miles from nowhere...and it is, but there are lots of good
things about living this far: no traffic lights, no waiting in line, no noise and no
traffic jams.

If you're coming from the north take the Carpenter exit off I-80.
This will be about 25 miles east of Cheyenne or about 25 miles west of Pine Bluffs,
Wyoming. Take road 214 south and go past (but not into) the little town of
Carpenter. Proceed on into Colorado to the town of Hereford. At Hereford at the
4-way stop proceed southeast on the gravel road. Go west through the town of Grover
(on its only paved street) and follow the pavement 1 mile. Turn south on Road 87 and
go 2 miles to the ranch.
If you're coming from the south take I-25 to Ft. Collins and get off at the Ault exit.
Take Highway 14 east to Briggsdale, about 20 miles east of Ault. At Briggsdale take
Rd 77 north 15 miles, turn east on Road 120 and go 5 miles east to Road 87. The
ranch is 2 miles south. The only gravel on this route will be the last 2 miles.
It isn't as complicated as it sounds!
Where To Stay:
Accommodations in the town of Grover are limited but we do have
two bed and breakfasts in our area and also a dude ranch that will take overnight visitors
if space permits:
 | Our friends Paul and Louanne Timm have The West Pawnee Bed and
Breakfast on their ranch west of Grover (970-895-2482). |
 | Pine Bluff, Wyoming, is 32 miles northeast on Interstate 80 and has the
Gator's Travelyn
Motel (307-245-3226). |
 | Cheyenne, Wyoming, and Greeley, Colorado, are both about an hour away
from Grover and both have excellent accommodations. |
